ABOUT WORDSMYWAY
Hi, I’m Nikki.
Nikki Rosner, M.A., CCC-SLP, Speech-Language Pathologist
With over 13 years of dedicated service in private practice, I am a passionate advocate for early childhood communication development. My expertise lies in enriching the lives of children aged birth to 5, fostering their growth through playful learning experiences, and empowering parents with invaluable education.
My philosophy centers on the belief that every child possesses unique strengths and interests that serve as gateways to effective communication. I understand that forming genuine connections with my young clients begins with embracing their individuality and engaging with what brings them joy.
I specialize in several key areas essential for early childhood development. My proficiency in working with autistic individuals enables me to tailor interventions that cater to their specific needs, fostering communication breakthroughs and enhancing their quality of life.
Furthermore, I am highly skilled in augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), providing vital support for children who require alternative methods to express themselves. My dedication to early language development ensures that each child receives tailored interventions that lay the foundation for effective communication skills.
One of my areas of expertise is Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS), a challenging motor speech disorder. Evidence-based strategies and personalized therapy plans help children with CAS overcome obstacles and unlock their full communication potential.
Beyond my work, I am deeply committed to ongoing professional development, staying abreast of the latest research and techniques in my field. I love to collaborate closely with families, educators, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to each child's growth and development.
I am dedicated to empowering young children and their families through effective communication strategies for growth and laying the groundwork for a lifetime of successful communication.
I am certified in the following professional development trainings: SOS Approach to Feeding, PROMPT Introductory Trained, PROMPT Bridging Trained, Hanen More Than Words, Lindamood Phoneme Sequencing Program (LiPS), CAN-EAT Approach Using medical, motor, & therapy strategies in pediatric feeding, Talk Tools Succeeding in Feeding, PEERS® Program, Masterclass with Melanie Potock ARFID: The Anxious Eater, etc.
