Cancelation & Attendance Policy

At WordsMyWay Speech & Language Therapy, we value your commitment to your therapy journey and strive to provide consistent and effective services. To ensure the best possible outcomes for all clients, we have established the following policies regarding cancellations and attendance:

  • Attendance Requirement: Clients are expected to maintain a minimum attendance rate of 85% across a three-month period to optimize the effectiveness of their therapy sessions.

  • Attendance Warnings: If a client falls below the 85% attendance requirement, they will receive an attendance warning. After two attendance warnings, your child may be removed from the standing schedule to allow for other clients to access needed services.

  • Cancellation Notice: We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, requiring appointment cancellations. However, we kindly request that clients provide a minimum of 24 hours' notice for any appointment cancellations or rescheduling.

  • Late Cancellations/No Show: A fee of $50 will be charged for late cancellations or no-show appointments. While we strive to be accommodating, late cancellations and no-show appointments disrupt our schedule and may prevent other clients from accessing needed services. Therefore, we allow a maximum of 3 waived late cancellations or no-show fees per calendar year.

  • Consequences of Excessive Cancellations/No Shows: In the event of frequent late cancellations or no-show appointments beyond the allotted three waivers, we reserve the right to reassess the client's appointment scheduling privileges and may require alternative arrangements.

  • Communication: We encourage open communication regarding scheduling conflicts or emergencies to facilitate timely adjustments and minimize disruptions to your child’s therapy journey.

Payment Policy

At WordsMyWay Speech & Language Therapy, we aim to streamline the payment process to ensure a seamless experience for our clients. Please review the following payment policy:

  • Payment Due: Payment for services rendered is due at the time of the appointment or within 3 days of receiving an invoice.

  • Accepted Payment Methods: We accept various forms of payment, including cash, credit/debit cards, and electronic transfers.

  • Credit Card Authorization: We require a credit card to be kept on file prior to starting service. By providing your credit card information, you authorize WordsMyWay Speech & Language Therapy to securely store your payment details and charge your card for any outstanding balances not settled within 3 days of receiving an invoice.

  • Late Payment: Failure to submit payment within the specified timeframe may result in additional charges, late fees, or suspension of services until payment is received.

  • Payment Disputes: Should you have any concerns or questions regarding invoiced charges, we encourage you to reach out to our billing department promptly for resolution info@wordsmyway.com.
